Biography

Leia Ciociola was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL, in 2003, and currently lives and works in Gainesville, FL. She is pursuing her BFA in Studio Art at the University of Florida with a Minor in Art History and a Certificate in Ceramic Arts. She recently curated the group show Coming Home (2025) at the 4MOST Gallery in Gainesville, FL, which was comprised of work from eleven emerging artists including herself. Her work has been featured in the Juried Student Show (2024, 2025) and Face Pareidolia (2024), both hosted by the University of Florida. She has been published in student-run magazines Dinner + No Show (2024, 2025) and Tea Literature and Arts Magazine (2024, 2025); she was recognized for her printmaking work through the Sarah and Kenneth Kerslake Endowment in 2024.
